Short Description

S/He is responsible
for preparation of Engg. deliverables like requisition & data sheets, technical evaluation, database for control systems configuration, wiring connection diagram, MTO for construction design, loop drawing etc., vendor print review and sizing and selection of in-line instruments for Co-ordinating with designer to prepare construction design deliverables

Long Description

Job Accountabilities
Ensure quality of deliverables by adherence to quality management system
Prepare design deliverables as per Project Schedule
Effectively execute the job and perform task assigned to meet the expected productivity
Ensure compliance to the Project Specifications and Standards
Study & ensure compliance to Codes and Standards
Carry-out own planning and follow-up with respective stakeholders to meet own and project objective
Takes initiative for self and department improvement
Exhibits core organization values and behaviour

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills)

Shall have following skills & knowledge of:
Basic of Instrumentation & Control Systems
Codes and Standards applicable to Instrumentation Engineering
Work processes of Instrumentation and Control system engineering
Hazardous Area Classification &Technique used for selection of Inst. & Control System
Inter-disciplinary and Intra-disciplinary Interfaces
Various modules of SPI (INTools) and MS Office
SPR, PDS and / or SP-3D
Prepare Instrument Index, Nozzle Arrangement for Level Instruments, Electrical – Instrument Signal Interface
Knowledge of Sizing software for inst.
Prepare Data Sheet for inline & offline instruments incl. analysers
Technical Offer Evaluation
Vendor print review
Prepare I/O Summary for control systems like DCS, ESD, F&G
Prepare inputs for hardware and software configuration of control systems like I/O data base, logic diagram, wiring connection list, etc.
Prepare MTO for Instrument Construction Design and Hook-up Selection
Familiar with process and role of Instrumentation in FAT, SAT, HAZOP, SIL Review
Familiar with advance instrumentation like FF, HART, Wireless Instruments, Various flow meter like Mass, Ultrasonic, Thermal mass, electro-magnetic, ultrasonic and special instruments like custody meter, tank gauge, CTMS
Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Necessary:
Degree in Instrumentation & Control System Engg.
Degree in Electronics & Instrumentation (Provided s/he has past experience in Instrumentation Field)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:


1 - 6 Years of Total Experience including training period out of which minimum 1 Years of Experience in Instrumentation Engineering in the Hydrocarbon Industry OR minimum 2 Years of Experience in Instrumentation & Control System Field
