Lawkim pioneered the manufacturing of specialized custom built compressor motors, in technical collaboration with Emerson Electric. It has Underwriters Laboratories (UL) - approved motors in its range and also manufactures a wide range of domestic and agricultural pump sets. Now we have also diversified into Calibration & Inspection Services, offering solutions to customers in Calibration, Inspection, Consultancy and Training and are also a NABL accredited calibration laboratory as per international standard IS/ISO/IEC 17025. Our mechanical calibration laboratory with its precision measuring instruments facilitates dimensional inspection of precision components.
Job Profile

Key Responsibilities
1. To Ensure the completion of calibration of 20no. of instruments with reports by each engineer i.e achieve productivity as per plan
2.To achieve 80% Delivery of inst within 2 working day.
3.Maintain and Enhance the N.A.B.L scope and ensure process followed as per plan
Job Description
Daily calibration load distribution
Correspondence with the customer regarding the resolving the technical quires, complaints etc.
Assist to the calibration engineers in case of malfunction of instruments, to provide technical guidance to engineers etc.
Sub contracting of the instruments, searching calibration labs, follow up with calibration labs,

NABL activities
Do the analysis of Delivery time, engineer wise performance, Discipline wise calibration analysis on daily basis.
Technically assist to the marketing team while making the quotations & also make a correspondence with customer for any queries or search for guidance by using Internet.
Calibration of instruments in-house & on-site.

Qualification Details
Essential Qualification: Diploma Engg in Instrumentation/Bsc (PHYSICS)
Preferred Qualification: BE in Electrical/ Instrumentation engineering / Bsc (PHYSICS)
Experience Details
Essential Experience: Min of 5 years
Preferred Experience: -
Special Skill Essential :
1.Should be able to understand metrological principles
2.Knowledge of ISO17025/ N.A.B.L Accreditation/ Measurement Uncertainty Calculation

Description Overall 5-8 years of experience in field of engine testing & test cells environment facility ,User level knowledge on emission norms and related test cycle will be an added advantage
Core Job Responsibilities:
· Handling & maintaining different sensors for temperature ,pressure, flow measurement( ie thermocouple, RTD, flow meters, load cell, etc..)
· Handling & maintaining engine data acquisition and control systems
· Engine performance data analysis, measurement system analysis
· Calibration of test cell equipment (Pressure, Temperature meters etc..)
· Handling & maintaining analog & digital dynamometer controllers
· Preparing steady state & transient Test cycles for emission performance measurement.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
· Knowledge of excel, MS power point ,Minitab
· Communication skills
· Good presentation skills
· Interpersonal relationship management
· Coaching & developing skills
Qualifications
BE- Instrumentation ,M-Tech in Instrumentation specialization would be an added advantage
